Is it Possible for a Pokemon's Affection to go Down on Pokemon Amie?

I'm just curious, since all of the Pokemon on my team on my X Version have max affection.

Yes they wil only if you poke them and drop the pokepuffs instead of holding them near the Pokemon's mouth.

Other than these,Affection in Pokemon amie will never go down.

How exactly do you poke them? It's happened to me on occasion on accident, but I don't know how. XD And thanks for answering!

If you tap too forcefully you'll poke them instead of pat them.

In addition, if you trade the Pokemon away, its affection will drop to zero.
