Why does the battle maison tauros can use endure?!?

Question

Ok, I was in the battle maison super single battles when I faced a tauros. It isnt suppose to learn endure in gen 6 but it DID.
Why is it like that??

It can still learn Endure. Just not in Gen VI - in Gen IV it could learn it.

I assume Game Freak just wanted to be that way - also to add extra annoyance to battling. x)
It's perfectly legal, so I guess they thought they were allowed to. :P
