Why cant I nickname my ferrothorn "Spike"?

It's because it has "Pik" in it.

Apparently Pik in the Netherlands stands for "Penis"

This is funny, considering you can`t have "pik", but yet some pokemon in the GTS are named "F**K YOU" (mainly jirachis and such other legends), except instead of "*"`s, they have letters..... So yeah, Game Freak and Nintendo is filled with hypocrites when it comes to nicknames.....

@Reshval In Denmark, it's the same. I once introduced my friends to Pikmin and as soon as I said the name of the game they were like "Nope, never playing it."

Funnily enough, in Pokèmon Go, Pik isn't banned. However, English words such as "P***s," "D**k" and more are banned. Strange.

That's because it has the word "pik" in it, which is another word for the male genitalia in the Netherlands.
