Why are most Pseudo-Legendaries Dragon types?

Dragon type Pokemon are considered the most overpowered Pokemon ever; and it's because of this that almost all of the Perudo-Legends are Dragons.
It could also be the fact that since Dragonite, the first PseudoLegend, the trend of pseudo legends have followed and became dragons.

Look at dragons for a second.

When you see a dragon like Reshiram or Dragalage, you think of mythical creatures, right? That's what dragons are: Mythical Creatures. Game Freak most likely wanted to reflect the elusiveness of draco in some of it's more powerful Pokemon, like psuedo legendaries Dragonite, Hydreigon, and Garchomp.
