2 Eggs hatching at the same time?

Even though they were from the same parents and were obtained at separate times,Both of my piplup eggs hatched at the exact same amount of steps!Can anyone explain why?

This is due to the exact same step cycles programmed into Piplup. All Eggs have their own Step Cycles which they need to meet before they hatch.
