Magic Coat and Heal Pulse in doubles?

If I used Magic Coat on my Pokemon amd thwn we say Clawitzer uses Heal Pulse on Pokemon who used Magic Coat. Would Clawitzer gain HP.

And is this a good strategy them?

Just tried this. Magic Coat will actually bounce back the healing effect onto the Pokemon that used Heal Pulse.

However, I would not recommend this. Using something like Wish or Softboiled or whatever is a much better way of healing. This is too gimmicky
