I keep on running into a ghost in Pokemon tower in firered?

I keep on running into a ghost in the Pokemon firered lavender town Pokemon tower. Is this normal? There are lots of theories about ghosts at lavender town that I don't even know what is normal anymore...

Don't worry the ghost in the Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town is part of the game in Pokémon Red, Blue, Yellow, Fire Red, and Leaf Green.

The ghost is actually the sprit of a deceased Marowak who died protecting it's child from Team Rocket.

In order to advance in the game you have to defeat the ghost but not before you identify it with Silph Scope.

If you don't have the Silph Scope, it can be obtained from the Rocket Hideout (which is underneath the Game Corner) after the player defeats Giovanni.

The ghost in the Pokemon tower is part of the game. In order to discover the ghost (Which is the mother of a cubone) you must get the shilph co glasses in the Silph Company building in Saffron City. If you need a guide: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Silph_Co.

Yes hopefully you have the silph co gadget to identify the ghost which is probably a Marowork
