oh god not another list question.....
Umm the attack stat is factored for gyro ball. For example a gyro ball from ferrothorn would do more than a gyro ball from shuckle assuming they have the same speed stat.

If you had meant status moves as well I wouldn't have bothered answering    -_-
I'm confused whether or not to add Fell Stinger here.
No, Fell Stinger shouldn't be added to this list as it is not effected by anything other than the attack stat and STAB, it just raises attack(If it knocks out the pokemon).
Then I guess I should remove thief on the same principle.
you should also remove Sucker Punch, Hidden Power and Judgement (HP and Judgement change type not power)
Damage isn't the only thing that needs to change. Held items change types for Judgement and Techno Blast. Sucker Punch has as good as 0 BP if your opponent doesn't attack. Thief on the other hand has no change in type or power regardless of whether it steals an item or not.
Sleep Talk isnt an attacking move, unless the Pokemon using it only has attacking moves (other than Sleep Talk)
You know what? I think I should add Multi-hit moves.
Like Bullet Seed. Minimum of 50 BP (2 hits) and maximum of 125 BP (5 hits).
Relies on Attack stats but also depends on the number of strikes.
I'll remove Sleep Talk (I always thought it was a Special move but oh well).
Final Gambit is a OHKO move, get rid of it.
Final Gambit's not an OHKO move. You must be confusing it for something else.
it inflicts damage equal to the user's remaining HP, it doesnt rely on Attack or anything else for that matter, it's a quaranteed KO (unless your accuracy has been lowered)
Say you have any pokemon facing a Shedinja. Shedinja uses Final Gambit but guess what?
While Shedinja has attacking stats it's base HP is always 1. Meaning Final Gambit will do only 1 damage.
Can't think of anything that could be OHKO'd with that :3
im so dumb, i thought it said "the opponent's remaining HP" xD
We would have never resorted to Explosion or Self-destruct if that was true XD
