I just traded my abra for some weird blue person's machop named Muscle. It has a gold berry but I don't know what to do with it. He was in Goldenrod's Department store.
The gold berry is simply a berry that will heal more HP than the normal berry i.e. 30 HP instead of 10, hence it has no other real purpose.
