What's the quickest way to get Ice Punch and Fire Punch on Elekid?

When it evolves in to an Electravire it will know:

Fire Punch... get with heart scale.

Ice Punch...???

Thunder Punch.... level up

Cross chop ... got already

There are two good ways. If you have a bunch of BP from the Battle Tower already, you can teach it Ice Punch and Fire Punch via move tutor. This is a bit expensive (64 BP each) so if you don't already have the BP it will take a while.

The other way is to breed. Hitmonchan and Medicham both learn the moves by level up - actually at level 1 so you will need Heart Scales. Make sure they are male, relearn the moves, then breed with a female Electabuzz.
