As a side-question: which would give more experience: a level 58 Graveler or a level 30 Audino?

I believe it's the same as it was previously but I can't confirm. ;-;
What was it earlier?

The basic stuff (From Bulbapedia)

The Bulbapedia is a link btw.
>The full flat and scaled formulas can be seen below on the right. For Generation VI, the flat formula shown below is further multiplied by factors p, f, and v. Depending on the order of multiplication and where rounding down is done, these formulas may produce slightly different results than are seen in-game.

enter image description here
^ That is the Gen I-IV Flat Formula.
The Gen V games are unique, in which they use a Scaled Formula which is not used in Gen VI

As I said before, that flat formula is further multiplied by factors p, f, and v

SEMPI WHAT ARE THESE FACTORS D:? HALP PLZ D:?

Ask Aeternis he can draw a diagram for you :I.
Just kidding;
>a is equal to...
1 if the fainted Pokémon is wild
1.5 if the fainted Pokémon is owned by a Trainer
b is the base experience yield of the fainted Pokémon's species. Base experience can be found here
e is equal to...
1.5 if the winning Pokémon is holding a Lucky Egg
1 otherwise.
f is equal to...
1.2 if the Pokémon has an Affection of two hearts or more
1 otherwise
L is the level of the fainted Pokémon.
p is equal to...
1 if no Exp. Point Power (Pass PowerGen V or O-PowerGen VI) is active
If Exp. Point Power [x] is active...
0.5 for ↓↓↓, 0.66 for ↓↓, 0.8 for ↓, 1.2 for ↑, 1.5 for ↑↑, or 2 for ↑↑↑, S, or MAX
s is equal to...
In Generation VI...
1 when calculating the experience of a Pokémon that participated in battle
2 when calculating the experience of a Pokémon that did not participate in battle and if Exp. Share is turned on
t is equal to...
1 if the winning Pokémon's current owner is its Original Trainer
1.5 if the Pokémon was gained in a domestic trade
Generation IV+ only: 1.7 if the Pokémon was gained in an international trade
v is equal to...
1.2 if the winning Pokémon is at or past the level where it would be able to evolve, but it has not
1 otherwise

So a basic recap of what is what;

a is whether it is wild or not
b is base experience
e refers to Lucky Egg
f is affection
L is level
p is O-Power
s is participation in battle
t is in regards to whether the Pokemon was traded or not
v is in regards to whether it can evolve or not

That ends today's episode of "The Nerdy Side of Pokemon"

Tune in next time for even more boring episodes!

Oh wait dammit you wanted calculations on EXP too...

MATHS TIME WITH KOD!

Level 58 Graveler or Level 30 Audino you ask?
For purposes of this calculation we will assume;
The opposing Pokemon is wild
No affection
No Lucky Egg
No O-Power active
Your Pokemon actively participated in the battle, with nothing like EXP. Share on
You are the original owner of your current Pokemon
Your Pokemon is not at a level where it can evolve yet

Right so lets do this.

Level 58 Graveler

= (1 x 1 x 137 x 1 x 58 x 1 x 1 x 1)/(7 x 1)
= 1135 exp (Nearest whole number)
If you want the actual decimal, it's something like 1135.14285714

Level 30 Audino

= (1 x 1 x 390 x 1 x 30 x 1 x 1 x 1)/(7 x 1)
= 1671 exp (Nearest whole number)

So end result!

Level 30 Audino provides more EXP then Level 58 Graveler!
