I want to start my new hunt for Anorith and Aerodactyl... shiny charm works?

by
I think it would be better if you just revived an Anorith/Aerodactyl and used the Masuda Method to breed either of them until you get a shiny. your 1/1024 chance of getting a shiny with your Shiny Charm is confirmed to work in this situation and it's much less tedious.

Yes, because it increases the odds of finding a shiny Pokemon by approximately 33%. This counts for all Pokemon found, including wild encounters, egg hatching and fossil restoring.

Good luck finding those shinnies!
