PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

I'm planning to use Luxray for in-game purposes and battles against a friend of mine.
This is going to be my moveset:
Thunder Fang
Crunch
Iron Tail
Ice Fang
The Razor Fang could compliment the 10% chance of making the opponent flinch after it is used, and turn it into 20%.
The Wide Lens would make those moves more than 100% accurate, and give Iron Tail an accuracy boost as well.

Which one should I use?

Wide Lens is better.

Razor Fang - An item to be held by a Pokémon. When the holder successfully inflicts damage, the target may also flinch. (10% Chance of Flinch)
Wide Lens - An item to be held by a Pokémon. It's a magnifying lens that slightly boosts the accuracy of moves by 10%.

Thunder Fang - 95% -> 99% with Wide Lens.
Crunch - 100% -> 100%.
Iron Tail - 75% -> +13% (10% of 75%) = 88% with Wide Lens.
Ice Fang - 95% -> 99% with Wide Lens.

I WOULD SUGGEST YOU TO GO FOR WIDE LENS BECAUSE 10% FLINCH IS NOT SO MUCH, ALSO WIDE LENS RAISES ACCUARY LIKE YOU SEE UP AND ACCUARY IS BETTER THAN 10% FLINCH!

Special Thanks to Dark_Breeder for correcting me, Wide Lens doesn't boost to 100%, the maximum is 99%.

Hope this helps!

Wide Lens doesn't raise the accuracy to 100%, it just boosts it to 99%. I think it worked like that.
Thanks!

Wide Lens

I would rather use Wide Lens, Razor Fang does not boost the chance of flinching if the attack already has a chance of flinching. And flinching isn't that great until you play "for-real". When you play using Smogon tiers etc.

Hope I helped! :D

Thank you, too! Sorry, I'm only able to vote on 1 person. ShinyFire was first.
It's okay, as long as I can't help people.
