Does the pokerus make the pokeathalon stats drop?

I noticed this for my Pokemon also. I believe it does. However, nothing I can find backs this up, nor does anything go against this. However, I had a Beedrill with 3 JUmp, which later became -4 Jump afer it got Pokerus.
