Is there a way for me to safely change the time in ORAS?

So, a couple of weeks ago, the time changed, so I'm wondering if there's a way to safely change the time so the time based events don't stop.

I'm pretty sure you can't change the time and still hope that the events will follow along with it. The only events that I think will change if you play around with the time is the time of day and maybe the daily events including shops, battles etc.. What wont happen is the change of mirage spots and stuff like that. By changing the time, the duration to wait increase. So, I think there's no way to safely change the time and still manage to recieve all the time details. All I could say is, WAIT!

Time based events won't stop, they'll reappear again after a while (1 day, I'm pretty sure.) You can change the time normally and the time events will be paused for a while, but not forever. If the time isn't important, leave it but if you'd rather just wait then change it normally in the settings.
