Question

How do you change Passerby settings in the PSS?

Before it just showed people literally around me, I remember changing a setting in X and Y and now I can't change it back. (Currently playing Alpha Sapphire, settings still the same)

Does anyone know how to change it back so it just shows people in the area, not just 100 asian players? Thank you.

Just making sure that this isn't the problem.

When you are offline on your game, it shows only the players that are locally available. Eg.- a friend of yours who is standing with his game on right beside you.
When you are online though, your game will show the most of the world that is connected on the internet with the game.
Thing is the only setting you change here is the internet setting, which you can switch off quite easily. I don't see the problem  clearly enough.
Could you tell us the setting if possible?

No thats not the problem, before it used to show me people that were in my country and the rest of Europe, now it just shows me hundreds of Japanese and Korean players.

I'm not 100% sure if it's supposed to be like this, but I don't remember it being like that before.

That's how it's supposed to be. If you scroll over past the Asian people, you'll start to see people from other countries such as Europe and the US. There wasn't a way to edit this setting to change what regions of people you see, so perhaps you disabled/enables PSS instead of changing anything. TL;DR there's no way to change it and that's how it's supposed to be.
