Why do egg moves disappear?

Question

So my sister has been trying to breed a shiny Charmander using the Masuda Method on her White 2. She got a baby Charmander with the egg moves Dragon Dance and Dragon Rush. Once she began breeding that one, after a few eggs, both of the moves disappeared from the offspring of that Charmander and a Japanese Ditto.

What should she do to fix this? Should one of the babies be raised to level 100 so they can't forget the moves in the daycare?

Females can't pass down egg moves in Gen V

So maybe if you breed a male Charmander from the "original" charmander with a ditto, you'll get a charmander with dragon rush and dragon dance. Just make sure that pretty much all charmanders have to be male
