How does Rayquaza Mega evolve?

Do you have to use Dragon Ascent or do you just find the mega evolve button after a specific turn, etc.

If your Rayquaza knows Dragon Ascent, the mega evolution button will show up on it's own, provided you have completed the Delta episode. You don't have to even use the move, only have it on Rayquaza.
