Hey guys,

I'm playing the old school Pokemon Red. However I am not able to deposit or withdrawal Pokemon from the storage box since it is full. I only have Bill box 1. Is there a possibility to increase the storage system with a box 2 in Pokemon red? If so, how do I do this?

Thanks in advance!

I know gen 1 is glitchy, but this is ridiculous. (How'd you even fill up the box after catching the 151 anyways?)
In Gen I, if you the box was full when you caught a Pokémon, instead of moving to Box 2 it would simply disappear.

"Congratulations! Mewtwo was caught!"
"Mewtwo was transferred to Box 1!"
"Box 1 is full. Mewtwo was lost forever. Screw you."
according to http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Storage_System#Core_series_games
"Starting in Generation V, the number of Boxes in the Pokémon Storage System is initially limited"
Gen V is Black and White, which is quite a bit after Pokemon Red
Which means you should have all of the boxes possible at the start of the game, which is 12

In Gen 1, there's an option to change the box when interacting with Bill's PC at a PC Station. It will require saving the game.
