Is this true about Granite Cave in ORAS?

I read somewhere that in ORAS, the first time you go to Granite Cave, you can't catch Sableye (Omega Ruby) or Mawile (Alpha Sapphire). Is this true, or merely an internet hoax? I'm hoping it's not so I can potentially get something better than Makuhita / Abra / Zubat / Geodude.

Yes, it is true that you cannot get Sableye/Mawile the first time you visit Granite Cave.
This is because you can only encounter Sableye/Mawile on B2F, which requires the Mach Bike to get to.
