How to get Shinys fast, from eggs?

Question

I was lucky and got a Shiny Meowth on the 11th Meowth egg, and I like it. But does anyone know how to get a Shiny Froakie fast, in Pokémon X, without restarting the game?

Doing the Masuda Method will raise your odds of finding a shiny by a lot. The shiny charm also helps, and both of them can stack to a shiny chance of 1/512. This is the highest the odds get in the games through egg hatching.
