OR/AS: If I cheat in all TMs and HMs, will anything happen to my game when I get the HM during the story?

Question

Since the cheat to give all TMs also gives all HMs, I'm concerned that something may happen when an NPC gives me an HM.

Answer 1

The HM that's given to you just "combines" with the current HM. For example, you have Strength via cheats and you use Rock Smash in Rusturf Tunnel. The guy will give you Strength like he was programmed to.
