So I accidentally managed to super-up the special defence stat chaining and now I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to have to breed and get a new one.
Any chance of making this guy a tank/wall? Also the attack stat is now higher than special attack. Is she useless now?

Ninetales as a wall isn't very viable... but my real reason for saying no to this is that its attack is higher :x
Not really. Its defensive stats aren't great and it has no recovery moves besides Pain Split and Dream Eater. Dream Eater is unviable because its only sleep-inducing move is Hypnosis, which is highly unreliable. Also, it usually can't take more than 2 hits and Pain Split won't help much.
That's what I thought. At least it's a female so drought will be passed down

Although Ninetales as a wall is largely unviable, there is a way to salvage what's left.

Try this set:

Ninetales @ Passho Berry / Leftovers
Ability: Drought
EVs: 196 HP / 60 Sp. Def / 252 Speed
Calm Nature
- Fire Blast
- Substitute / Solar Beam / Energy Ball
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

This set allows Ninetales to sponge Special Attacks fairly well. With Passho Berry, it can also act as a lure for water-types. By getting reduced damage from sunny weather + the berry, Ninetales is able to avoid being revenge killed by Aqua Jet or faster water-types and retaliate with Solar Beam. You could also use Flash Fire and Energy Ball, so it allows Ninetales to pivot into Fire-type attacks. Leftovers + Substitute also is another interesting option.

But, really, you wouldn't want to be using that Ninetales. It's actually better to just start over again because, not only Ninetales is bad as a tank, you also have the Attack higher than the Sp. Atk.

Anyways, hope I helped!
