Can Kenya (Spearow) be shiny in G/S/C?

It's has been proven that the gift Shuckle can be shiny in the original G/S/C. Can Kenya, the Spearow, be shiny? I'd love to soft reset for a shiny one if it is possible :)

Yes.

In GSC, Kenya is a gift Pokemon. And although it acts like a traded Pokemon, it's IVs are not pre-decided, meaning it can be shiny.
