Moonblast or Dragon Pulse?

Question

So I have an Altaria with cotton guard, refresh, and roost, but I can't decide to fill the last slot with Moonblast or Dragon Pulse. (It's not a competitive build just for a oras playthrough). Dragon pulse provides a decent stab move at all times, but Moonblast gives it a much better stab move when mega evolved. The problem is I'm not sure how often I'll mega evolve my Gyarados over my Altaria. So Moonblast or Dragon Pulse?

I would say Moonblast because it covers Fighting, Dragon, and Dark types when dragon pulse only covers Dragon types.

I'd go with moonblast (personally), only because when using dragon pulse against most npcs won't be very effective, but then again, sometimes it's just about the typing that you should keep in consideration.

it depends if you r gonna use mega altaria moonblast because its stab and hits harder than d pulse but if you r gonna stay to regular form d pulse is better because its stab not that every time stab is the best also it depends if you r playing omega ruby or alpha saphhire dragon pulse would be better for both
