In January 2017, the Nintendo 3DS downloadable software Pokémon Bank is expected to receive an update for compatibility with Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.

If all goes according to schedule, Poké Bank will be updated this month. From what I could find, there is no specific day in January announced.

Probably not RIGHT now, as it hasn't been released yet. But, as Astro said, Poke Bank will be updated sometime in January, between the 4th and 31st
