Who is Arceus' father? If real, what keeps it alive?

My after school activity classmate told me this rumor.

"It is believed to be Arceus Father, it has Destruction Type. It is still alive today."

Can anyone help me debunk this rumor?

If it is real, what is keeping it alive to this day?

I doubt that there is a Pokemon that is Arceus's father/mother. Most of its Pokedex entries either talk about it existing before the universe was created or creating the universe. If there was nothing before Arceus, then that means that it just popped into existence.

Basically that ^. If it existed, I would've heard of it, I've been into Pokemon for quite some time (years) and never heard of anything that existed before Arceus in the Pokemon Universe, nor have I heard of a 'Destruction Type'. If these was true, these would be in Pokemon Websites like this one and/or been talked about by Youtubers (who seem to talk about everything).

Perhaps your friend was lying to seem cool, or he/she thought of Giratina:

This is a Ghost/Dragon type. Arceus created this Pokemon along with Dialga and Palkia to rule the elements, Dialga for time, Palkia with Space, and Giratina with Matter. However, Giratina was banished by Arceus to the Distorion World because it was distorting matter around it and destroying everything as said in the pokedex entry in platinum:

Platinum | It was banished for its violence. It silently gazed upon the old world from the Distortion World.

That's a pretty good description for a 'Destruction' type.

Another good candidate for this is Yveltal but it has no relation to Arceus compared Giratina to Arceus.

No one would actually know the answer, however it's highly likely it's just a rumor. Other than the fact that there is no proof of such a thing, The Pokemon magazine also debunks this by saying

Before the First Moment of Time... Before the First Expanse of Space... Before the First Pokemon Battle...
There was Arceus.

This suggests Arceus was made before anything else was created as Mega_Septile said.
