Can wide lens increase the accuracy of repeated uses of the move Protect?

I'm researching cheesy strategies and I want to know if a Pokemon holding a Wide Lens can increase the accuracy of Protect (and other identical moves) when used repeatedly. can it be boosted to 55% or does the game keep repeated uses of Protect at a static 50% at all times?

Protect does not have accuracy according to here. This may be because the move does not affect anyone other than the user (and allies in doubles).

aww, well that's a shame lol. yes I do believe you're correct. I just wasn't sure if Protect "gained" an accuracy value of 50 after it was used once. so It seems its a fixed value. thankyou for answering!
