I was in an Aether house in that city with Diglett's Tunnel and apparently my character was supposed to look for Ultra Beast information but I ran into a bookshelf thinking it would help. The first one I read was about Palkia. The second one was info on Giratina. By now I already knew the pattern and I looked at the third/last book but... It didn't say Dialga. Instead it gave information on Bronzong. Why?

I bet that someone is going to make a conspiracy theory on how bronzong has ties to dialga
I could put money on that bet.
They're both steel type, they're both introduced in Generation 4, they're both genderless, they're both found on Mt. Coronet, they're both slow, they're both not weak to fire, they're both used by Team Galactic, they're both fully evolved, and they're both old. Bronzong and Dialga are basically the same thing.
If I forget similarities, please tell me.
They're both Steel types that aren't weak to Fire (if Bronzong has Heatproof).
It's because Bronzong is totally cool
one is a floating/fireproof hunk of metal with psychic powers and the other one is a dragon in armor with the ability to control time

idk what you're confused about like sumwun said they're like the exact same thing
Unimportant details, Roserade. Unimportant details.
It's the dimensional research lab, not the aether house.
They can both be found at Temporal Tower in the Mystery Dungeon games

  • Palkia is the God of space, so it can ascend above our plain of being and effectively leave space. That is Palkia going to 'it's own dimension':

It is said to live in a gap in the spatial dimension parallel to ours. It appears in mythology.

Its total control over the boundaries of space enable it to transport itself to faraway places or even other dimensions.

  • Giratina is in the distorsion world, the reverse side of our universe, 'it's own dimension':

A Pokémon that is said to live in a world on the reverse side of ours. It appears in an ancient cemetery.

  • Bronzong is some kind of golem or robot from an ancient civilization that can open portals to an alternate dimension:

One caused a news sensation when it was dug up at a construction site after a 2000-year sleep.

It brought rains by opening portals to another world. It was revered as a bringer of plentiful harvests.

  • Dialga can't cntrol space, as it's the God of time. When it appears at spear pillar, it comes to our point in time:

This Pokémon completely controls the flow of time. It uses its power to travel at will through the past and future.

In addition, the Pokédex says that bronzong was also worshipped as a deity in ancient times
