Naive nature is +Speed, -Special Defense. I wanna know if it's any good for competitive. Here's the Set I was planning to run:

Arceus-Fire @ Flame Plate
Ability: Multitype
Evs: 252 Spe / 252 SpA / 4 Atk
Naive Nature (+Spe, -SpD)

  • Ice Beam
  • Judgement
  • Thunderbolt
  • Extreme Speed

Would it work? :\

I personally don't think this has any advantage over jolly Arceus, because extreme speed Arceus doesn't need any special attacks.
What if I were to replace Extreme Speed with a move like Earthquake or Stone Edge?
Then it would probably be a bad set because the main reasons to use Arceus over other Pokemon are recover, extreme speed, and defog.
Naive is fine - it's just a sub optimal EXKiller. Use the standard EXKiller set and you'll be good.

Unless you're talking about whether or not Naive has any competitive use or reason? If that's the case - no. Mixed Arceus is the only thing Naive would go well with and you shouldn't used Mixed Arceus if you're trying to be serious.
@PX
Thanks for the information I'll run a Ex killer Arceus set then. I'll run the set like this.

Arceus @ Silk Scarf
Ability: Multitype
Evs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 SpA
Naive Nature (+Spe, -SpD)

- Swords Dance
- Extreme Speed
- Shadow Claw/Brick Break
- Ice Beam
If you're trying to run an effective Ekiller you should use the standard one - though I must admit that variant looks kind of fun. I like the idea of just poppin Zygardes and hitting Giratina's on it's weaker side.
True if you put what you told me in the comments I'll select it as best answer. Thanks for the info.

Okay, you are planning to have your Arceus overly speedy. To utilize that much speed, use set-up moves such as Swords Dance or Special set-up moves like Calm Mind. The thing is if you have such high speed, expecting a quick first attack with very high power to take out your foe is reasonable but against a bulky staller it's going to have a very very hard time (and nowadays every team has one of those). So if you can teach it some moves that can take advantage of its high speed then why not? Instead of taking the risk of not get an at the start OHKO, if you have the guarantee for the rest of the battle to take out every single foe almost certainly, then which would you choose? The rest depends on you as you also have other Pokemon to depend on other things.
Hope I helped. :)))
