Will changing my game's clock hurt it?

Question

Two things: the pelago glitch (set to last minute of the month to cheat stuff) and the secret base boards in ORAS which can be obtained only on Saturday.
I have OR and Sun, as well as two mystery dungeon games. Will this hurt them or my 2DS?
The clock is wrong anyway.

If you change you clock on you 2ds it resets it 24 hours back. I tried it on Y to get a rotom But it doesn't work.
