Is Super Mystery Dungeon really the final Mystery Dungeon game?

I heard somewhere that it was the last game, and I wanted to get it but is there going to be another one? (Ultra Mystery Dungeon maybe?)

If you don't play these games, then why are you asking about them? If you were a fan of these games, you would probably be concerned as to ask if Super Mystery Dungeon was the last one.

But I am concerned, I want to know so I don't waste money on a game when an updated version with Alolan Pokemon might come out.

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, the most recent entry in the series, was released for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on September 17, 2015, in North America on November 20, 2015, and in Europe and Australia in February 2016. Being released during Generation VI, the game features all 720 Pokémon revealed at the time. Unlike previous Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, the game features cameo appearances by many characters who appeared in earlier entries.

This game is the most recent, but I do not know if it is the last one in the series. If this wasn't the last and another one came after it, it would probably be released to America this year (maybe this month? November?).
