Wow. So I guess it got rebuilt in Gen. III/IV?
FRLG is the same story as the Generation 1 games, so they take place before whatever caused Cerulean Cave to collapse. HGSS takes place at the exact same places and time as GSC, so their differences can probably be explained by a Pokemon multiverse.
