So recently the shinyness for gen1 Pokemon has changed, and I've been doing a Mewtwo hunt with which I recently found out the wrong stats. Can anyone give me the right updated stats?
So don't comment:
HP 228 239
ATK 161 163 167 168 173 174 178 180
DEF 145
SPEED 201
SPECIAL 234

The mewtwo in red and blue is lvl 70

And what level is this Mewtwo supposed to be?
The person is talking about the Wild Mewtwo in the Cerulean Cave in Red & Blue so the Mewtwo is Level 70.
Where did you hear that the shininess for Gen 1 changed?  I did a little research and couldn't find anything about a change.
What exactly do you mean by "shininess" ? I'm pretty much sure that whether a Pokémon is shiny or not doesn't affect it's stats...
In Gen II (or Gen I Pokémon sent to a later Gen), whether a Pokémon is shiny or not is determined by its stats, or more specifically, its IVs.

The wrong Transporter formula in the past based the shiny formula on Defence being able to vary between 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14 or 15 and Attack being fixed to 10. Since Version 1.3, this has been fixed to be consistent with GSC where the Attack IV varies and Defence is fixed. The stats given show a fixed Defence stat and multiple Attack possibilities, so they should be the right stats for the latest formula.
