Is it possible to make Zygarde return after knocking it out in US/UM?

Defeating the Pokemon League might make it come back.

It's in a post-game area, meaning that you had to beat the league first to get to it in the first place. And I haven't heard of a legendary that respawned after you beat the league for a second time or onward. I'm pretty sure that Zygarde cannot respawn in USUM. I could definitely be wrong, but I don't see any way that it could. :(

no just like in xy
if this happens, then use the gts or use Pokemon bank and transfer zygarde from xy, or sun moon.

Are you sure that your answer is right? I'm pretty sure that you could rebattle Zygarde after knocking it out in X/Y.
