Also, please give a step by step tutorial for doing a Naganadel Sweep.
I am fine with any moves, any nature, and any stats as long as it works (please do mention the moves the nature and the stats).

Naganadel is a glass cannon set-up sweeper that is really straight forward to use. In fact, its moveset is so reliable and effective that most teams come prepared for it, so you'll have to set up quickly and outplay your opponent.

It also has poor defenses, so it can't easily set up. Here's a good way (with moveset) to make the most of it.

Naganadel @ Dragonium Z
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature

  • Draco Meteor
  • Sludge Wave
  • Nasty Plot
  • Fire Blast

(This is the standard Smogon set)

Bring it in against defensive Pokemon (Chansey or Toxapex, for example) when you think they will use Toxic, or some move that won't damage you. Then, use Nasty Plot (if the opponent doesn't have a faster Pokemon on their team). If you suspect a Scarfed Pokemon in the team, use an attack. However, if there are no potential Scarfs or faster Pokemon, use Nasty Plot and begin.

Use Devastating Drake for exceptionally bulky switch ins, or for the first kill. This is will activate its Beast Boost, which, due to Timid Nature, raises Speed and in turn makes it so much easier to sweep.

So should I begin the match with Naganadel or bring it in when a tank or wall comes up?

Also, generally setters have a focus sash or sturdy. One turn they setup, the other they put me to sleep or confuse me, ruining my attack. What should I do about that?
Leading off maybe a good idea depending on the opposing lead. If it is a passive Stealth Rock setter, then go for it. If there's a Smeargle, then don't. Bulkier Pokemon rarely carry Focus Sash, and a +2 Devastating Drake can do massive (neutral) damage if not OHKO.

Obviously, the answer to whether or not lead with Naganadel will change with each opponent you face and their own lead Pokemon. A good way to go about it would be to lead off with another Pokemon, and then U-turn / Volt Switch to break the Sash on the leads that don't threaten to stop your setup-sweep, and then go about your business. If you're faster, you avoid Stealth Rock damage or Sticky Web Speed drop, but if it's a Smeargle then you might get Spored.
