I am trying to improve my Onix and when I look at the egg move data, it lists as compatible a lot of genderless Pokemon. As far as I know, there is no way for these groups to interact at all? Please explain if I misunderstand. Thanks!

Questions like this should be asked here. https://pokemondb.net/pokebase/meta/ask
You assume he/she/it is talking about his website? I just checked and it is not. This site lists Pokemon by egg groups, so naturally they'll be together (gender-less and not). However, this isn't an error because it is listing Pokemon in the egg group, not compatible breeding Pokemon. I don't believe this should be flagged. :P
They are actually talking about this website. Skimming through, this page heavily suggests genderless Pokemon like Minior and Golurk are compatible with Onix: https://pokemondb.net/pokedex/onix/egg
Though this question isn't assuming the page is wrong. They're just asking for an explanation. Not necessarily a meta question, though this should probably be brought up there seeing as it is indeed an error.
Okay :P . I was looking on the egg group page, not the onix page.
Indeed, Fizz and Stakatacool, you are getting my question...my current goal is improving my Steelix,  trying to breed Onix, not any of the genderless pokemon. I have ditto, so that isn’t a problem, but the compatible egg move parents are supposed to be for Onix. I’m new at this and this is my first question or comment, and the site has been so helpful. But as far as I can tell the genderless Pokémon are not compatible parents for any other Pokémon at all. It seems only ditto could ever alter them in any way and they cannot donate to anyone else. But I am not entirely certain, so I asked. Thanks to everyone for the super fast responses! (I am using the other listed Pokémon so the page did help me).

It is an error on wherever you looked it up, as proven by:

Two Pokémon are compatible if they are of the same species (or share at least one Egg Group) and are of opposite genders; alternatively, breeding is usually still possible as long as one of them is Ditto, even if the other parent is genderless, and in fact, genderless Pokémon can breed only with Ditto.

Onix can't breed with gender-less Pokemon (except ditto, but ditto has no egg moves for any Pokemon).

As long as it is not in the Undiscovered Egg-Group it can breed. Genderless Pokemon can only breed with Ditto.

the asker asked if onix could breed with a gender-less Pokemon to get egg moves, not that a gender-less Pokemon could breed, or if onix could breed.
