What do you mean by "original"?

I assume that you mean, if you can battle your character in RBY, while playing the GSC series.
That would be great, but no, as far as I know, that’s impossible.

It's possible to transfer a team from a Generation 1 game to a Generation 2 game and get another copy of a Generation 2 game to battle that team.
