In generation 1, can I withdraw a level 1 Pokémon in Prof. Oak's lab in Pokémon Stadium?

I know that in the Gameboy games that a softlock will occur if I try taking a level 1 Pokémon out of a box, but if I do the same thing in Pokémon Stadium, what will happen?

Reshowing because it should be possible to test in-game.

Nothing much, I think. PS1 has few glitches compared to the Game Boy Gen 1 games, if it has weak stats at level 1 so it's perfectly normal.
