What happens if you give Groudon/Kyogre a Red/Blue Orb in Gen 3?

I'm pretty sure that the Red/Blue Orbs in Gen 3 are Key Items.

Prior to Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, the Red Orb and the Blue Orb were Key Items. Therefore, it is impossible to give it to Groudon or Kyogre as a held item.
