Secret ID is needed to do RNG manip and I was looking into it, can the gible be used for that? Or do you only have to catch a shiny yourself, and if so how do you find your secret ID.
You need to know your Gible's personality in order to calculate your SID. I'm pretty sure you can't know Gible's personality if you already received it, didn't RNG manipulate it, and saved the game, and I don't think there's any currently existing tool that lets you RNG manipulate the personalities of forced shinies. source
