Changing nicknames /w a glitch?

Question

I got a free Darkrai from someone called "Her ballz". Anyways I like Darkrai but want to change the name. I think this isn't possible but from what I've heard the missing.no glitch moves the name of all Pokemon in the box over by 1. if I place my Pokemon correctly, will I be able to glitch the name Darkrai onto Darkrai even tho it has a nickname?

I'm nearly positive that Missingno doesn't exist in any games outside of Gen 1. I'm also pretty certain that the Gen 7 games wouldn't have a glitch this major.

You can't transfer missingno, and even if you could, it would turn into whatever Pokémon had the same index number as it. :P
Also, Missingno was only possible due to the way the game was formatted in gen 1 and 2- it is completely incompatible with any other game. :P

This will allow you to rename the Pokémon despite not catching it. However, this is incredibly unlikely. :P

No. Dude. I was told if you try to transfer Missing.No to Ultra-sun/Ultra-Moon it would disappear and the name of every Pokémon in your box would shift by 1.

 Did you look up transferring Missing.No glitches? I think there may be a glitch to shift a nickname onto my already named Darkrai.

If a player attempts to transfer MissingNo., 'M (00) or another glitch Pokémon to Pokémon Bank from the 3DS Virtual Console versions of Red, Blue and Yellow, the software will not transfer it, but each Pokémon after it will have its nickname, original Trainer, and Trainer ID number changed to the nickname, original Trainer, and Trainer ID number of the Pokémon before it.

I guess that there is a glitch that allows you to shift the nicknames of the Pokemon in a box by transferring MissingNo. It seems like all you have to do is attempt to transfer MissingNo. and the names of the Pokemon will be shifted over by one.
