So I’m trying to get a female Bulbasaur in pokemon ultra moon but all I’ll I have is male bulbasaur and I’m too lazy to use qr codes to capture one. Therefore is there a way to get a female bulbasaur through ditto using different natures or is it all chance.

(Btw I’ve done this before; having a male pkmn and breeding it multiple times until I get a female pkmn)

Also don’t care about stats, iv’s, etc.

Bulbasaur has a 87.5% to be male, and a 12.5% to be female. Maybe you'll get one if you keep trying.

Female starters have a low percentage, so I suggest hatching 8-10 eggs possibly since I got a female Piplup on the 8th or 9th soft-reset while playing through Diamond. Maybe it's the same for eggs. I'm not sure though. Hope this helps!

If you’re not sure, don’t answer. Although for the record, you’re right; all starters only have a 1/8 chance of being female (this applies to both SRs and breeding), so it can sometimes take 8-10 or so attempts before getting a female.
