The Sword exclusives are Flapple, Coalossal, and Machamp.

The Shield exclusives are Appletun, Lapras, and Gengar.

GMax Pokémon that can be found in either game are Hattrene, Orbeetle, Alcremie, Grimmsnarl, Sandaconda, Garbodor, Corviknight, Drednaw, Duraludon, Charizard, Butterfree, Kingler, Copperajah, and Centiscorch.
