Is having high IVs important in Battle Maison?

I know high IV Pokemon are usually better than random IV Pokemon, but I don't know how much better.

Yes

There isn't much else to say, I've tried the battle maison with 6iv stuff and still lost a lot. It's important if you wanna have a higher chance at winning, but you can go reasonably far without I guess
