How to reduce/counter the move "foul play" when used by the opponent?

Hey guys, please excuse my stupidness when it comes to Pokémon.I haven't play in a while to say the least, but I would like to know how to counter a yeveltal with foul play. I tried to do some research and it says that it uses the opponent's attack stats instead of their own so is there any method that effectively counters this build because it can just feint half of my team by itself.

Surely you have something on your team that doesn't have high Attack, or that resists Dark, or that has a high Defence stat?

What format/rules are you playing with? What Pokemon, moves, or abilities are you not allowed to use? You can probably try getting your own 252 SpA/252 Spe timid Yveltal.

I would say try using a tank with low atk or a special attacker, this way Yveltal can’t use your atk against you, but I’m not entirely sure if this would counter it, but I think it would at least reduce the damage it can do to your team.
