There hasn’t been any information bank is shutting down. In fact it is compatible with Pokémon home

It’s likely not going to shut down because Pokémon Home can’t communicate directly with any of the Gen 6 or 7 games, and instead has to communicate with Bank in order to send Pokémon from those games forward.
