How do I get Dragonite in Pokémon super mystery dungeon?

I recently saw someone online with a Dragonite playing on mystery dungeon

There's a mission pretty early on where you have to escort a Petilil to a Dragonite. Once you complete said mission, Petilil and Dragonite will join your team, and you can use them.
