I am shiny hunting trapinch using SOS chaining. If it has it’s HA when I catch it and I evolve it, will it still have a 60% chance of the trapinch having its hidden ability, or will it just have a normal ability?
According to Smogon, Vibrava has Leviate as both its standard ability and its Hidden Ability meaning that a Sheer Force Trapinch should evolve into a Levitate Vibrava that has the hidden ability flag activated. If this is correct Vibrava and Flygon should be able to pass on Hidden abilities.
