Is investing in SpD a good idea on Skarmory?

Question

My Skarmory currently has a bold nature with 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD. Like the question says, would it be better if I turned it's ev into 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD with careful nature?

I'm gonna include the team it's on just so I can get a more accurate answer. This isn't a moveset or team rating. This is just some advice on evs alone so I asked it here. This is on gen 7. Here is the team

It depends on what generation you are playing. Is this current gen for S/Sh or a previous. Because Meta differs for every game

Invest in Defense. Even when you invest in special defense, you aren't going to take very many hits from powerful special attackers with only base 70 special defense (like Mega Charizard Y, Blacephalon, etc). It would probably be better to invest in physical defense so that you can check powerful physical attackers better like Belly Drum Azumarill, Swords Dance Excadrill, Dragon Dance Mega Gyarados, Swift Swim Mega Swampert, etc.

That's true. I also want my team to be Salamence proof anyway because aerilate double edge is just hits so hard I don't think Milotic can handle it alone
